Qualia NAD+ is a 2-capsule-per-day product that exclusively supports NAD pathways and helps bolster NAD levels. Qualia Mitochondria+ requires up to 8 capsules per day and provides support for NAD while offering broader support for mitochondrial function, autophagy, stress management, and cellular metabolism.
The nicotinic acid (niacin) form of vitamin B3 can cause flushing when taken in amounts substantially more than the daily value (DV) amount. Qualia NAD+ contains nicotinic acid, but in an amount below the level where flushing has occurred in studies. The other common form of vitamin B3, niacinamide, does not cause flushing. NIAGEN® Nicotinamide Riboside, a next generation vitamin B3, also does not cause flushing.*
The FDA has determined that NMN (nicotinamide mononucleotide) is excluded from the definition of dietary supplement, which essentially means it is not allowed to be sold as an ingredient used in a dietary supplement. NMN is not in our product because Qualia NAD+ is a dietary supplement.
Qualia NAD+ does not contain any ingredients reported to interact negatively with alcohol.*
The best time to take Qualia NAD+ is near the start of your day. Circadian (i.e., body clock) research in animals suggests that NAD+ boosting compounds offer better support for metabolic health when taken at the beginning of the day.
Qualia NAD+ is designed to work beneath the surface (it's a cellular health supplement), so its primary purpose is not to deliver results you'd feel.
NAD+ is a critical molecule found in every cell in your body: it’s involved in hundreds of metabolic processes. NAD+ is most well-known for being involved in turning the energy in food into cellular energy (it’s a key player in metabolism) and regulating cellular functions related to maintenance, repair, and stress.
It’s fine to take Qualia NAD+ without food, and it contains less than 1 calorie, so it is fine to take before eating your first food of the day.*
Qualia NAD+ is a daily supplement that is uniquely formulated to support the body's innate capacity to produce, utilize, recycle NAD+, and ultimately sustain healthy NAD+ levels. This is important because NAD+ levels gradually decline with age, and adequate levels of NAD+ are needed to support cellular energy production and to keep cells healthy.*
